What is RTC Collector?​

RTC Collector helps retro technology enthusiasts keep track of their collections. You can catalog vintage computers, consoles, games, and accessories, then track their values and condition over time. There's also a marketplace where you can buy, sell, or trade items with other collectors. Think of it as a digital inventory system that also connects you with other people who appreciate old technology.

What You Can Do​

Collection Management​

The platform supports cataloging across six categories: vintage computers, gaming consoles, handheld devices, video games, accessories/peripherals, and other retro tech. You can add detailed information about each item, including serial numbers, purchase dates, condition ratings, and photos.

Marketplace & Trading​

When you're ready to buy or sell, the marketplace lets you list items, make offers, and complete transactions. Payments go through Stripe, and you can track shipments and leave ratings after trades. There's also a dispute resolution system if something goes wrong.

Social Features​

Follow other collectors, create posts with photos from your collection, and engage with a community feed. Like and comment on posts, use hashtags to discover content, and control your visibility with public, followers-only, or private options. You can also add friends, view their collections, and manage follow requests.

Analytics & Pricing​

The analytics section shows you the total value of your collection, tracks how it grows over time, and breaks everything down by category, manufacturer, or condition. Live market prices from PriceCharting show Loose, CIB, and New/Sealed values for your items. You can export all your data as CSV or JSON files.

Mobile & Android App​

RTC Collector is available as a Progressive Web App and as a native Android app on the Google Play Store. The native app includes biometric login (fingerprint/face), push notifications, barcode scanning, and camera integration for adding photos directly to your items.

Subscription Tiers​

RTC Collector offers three subscription tiers to fit your needs:

  • Hobbyist (Free) - Perfect for getting started with basic features
  • Collector (£5/month) - For serious collectors with larger collections
  • Enthusiast (£15/month) - Unlimited everything for professional collectors
